Congratulations Angie Taylor, recipient of the 2023 Peter Jenkins Memorial Award

This Award in memory of the great Peter Jenkins is presented annually to a Dressage Bay of Plenty member or volunteer in recognition of an outstanding contribution to Dressage in the Bay of Plenty region. The criteria are intentionally broad to encompass the diversity of our membership and the many shapes and forms in which a truly valuable contribution can be recognized, and to reflect the values of humility, service and perseverance which Peter himself represented.

Angie, who recently celebrated her 80th birthday, has been a dedicated writer for the BOP show, Dressage Rotorua and others for at least a decade.

Always the first to sign up for the full three days, booking her own accommodation, you couldn't ask for a more cheerful and reliable volunteer. Angie plans to take a step back from the longer events going forward, but we hope to see her smiling face at our local shows for many years to come.
